Upptäck den skandinaviska bruksdesignens formvärld under mitten av 1900-talet. Utställningen bygger på delar av Thomas Lindblads unika samling – den största i sitt slag – med vardagsföremål i pressglas, rostfritt stål, aluminium och plast från 1930–1970.

Här lyfts de moderna bruksföremål som ofta saknas i museisamlingar och som berättar om funktion, form och vardagsliv i en tid präglad av framtidstro. Genom föremål, texter och film öppnar utställningen för frågor om konsumtion, hållbarhet och vad historien kan lära oss om dagens designideal.

Discover the form world of Scandinavian utility design during the mid-20th century. The exhibition is based on parts of Thomas Lindblad's unique collection – the largest of its kind – of everyday objects in pressed glass, stainless steel, aluminum and plastic from 1930–1970.

Here, the modern utility objects that are often missing from museum collections are highlighted and tell the story of function, form and everyday life in an era characterized by faith in the future. Through objects, texts and film, the exhibition opens up questions about consumption, sustainability and what history can teach us about today's design ideals.
